Our Process to your clean laundry

Pre-Cleaning

We use due diligence to pre-clean your laundry so that our washing cycle is more effective, leaving your laundry cleaner then it would have been otherwise.​

Washing

We use an industrial washing machine to meet your laundries needs.  Custom washing cycles have been programmed to optimize the cleaning process.  We follow the manufacturer's laundering recommendation and use a vegetable-based soap cleaner, which thoroughly cleans, and revitalize insulation, water repellency and breathability.​

Repairs

Whether your blanket has a rip, hole, missing insulation, torn trim webbing, missing belly strap or bent/broken buckle we have you covered.  Our patchwork uses tough and durable materials, just as the original manufacturer uses.  Patches are either sown, or glued using an industrial strength waterproof adhesive.  We also keep on hand a stock of straps and miscellaneous hardware.

Waterproofing

If your blanket or sheet is no longer providing the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) it once use to, you have the option of having us re-waterproof it.  We use a product ​that has been specifically designed and optimized for breathable waterproof animal blankets and sheets. It leaves a flexible water repellent treatment on individual fibers allowing moisture vapor to pass through, maintaining breathability, while protecting your animal from getting wet in the rain.​​

Drying

Your blankets and sheets are never put in a dryer.  We line dry each blanket and sheet to ensure it's integrity is maintained​

Packaging

Each blanket and sheet is individually packaged in a clear bag for easy visibility.  The bags are then tagged with their owner's name and contents, perfect for storing, while eliminating the hassle of being unable to find the exact blanket or sheet you're looking for.

Our Results
Raise the Bar Equine Laundry will launder and return items according to our procedures.  We will do everything reasonable to protect your item during processing. Laundering is considered normal wear and tear.  We are not liable for reasonable wear/damage/discoloration/fading due to laundering. Laundering damaged items may exacerbate the problem.  Our Water Resistant Treatment creates a water resistant barrier that repels water. Results may vary depending on blanket and previous treatments.  Water Resistant Treatment is not guaranteed.  Problems must be reported at first rain fall it is used.
